“ | Frighten enemies, specially Warlocks, with this scary pack. | ” |
— Game Description
|
The Monster Gear was a renamed bundle - and that bundle can be viewed here - it was released in the Monster Mash Update, and costs $9.99 . The head of this pack is an important part of the Monster Mash tier prizes.
Contents[]
- Monster Face - 5% Health, Increase 40% the Damage caused by Monster tagged weapons.
- Monster Vest - 5% Health, Reduce 40% the Damage received by Warlock tagged weapons.
- Monster Pants - 5% Health, Move 5% faster when carrying Monster tagged weapons.
- Toxic Guns - Bullet Ammo | Handguns
Synopsis[]
Not unlike his Warlock rival, this monster has no real viability in the current meta, as his gear and weapons are focused on a small-and royally outclassed-class of weapons. Furthermore, the lack of buffs or nerfs besides monster-tagged weapons makes the gear hard to use outside of the mention weapon class, as while the minor agility buff points towards a run and gun strategy, players can still easily fall to new-meta weapons. Due to these flaws, this character is only sought out now for his looks.
Like the gear, the weapons included have no justification for usage, as they have low damage without buffs, low range and ammo capacity, and can easily be rendered obsolete with one piece of anti-equipment.
Trivia[]
- The face, vest and pants were available as part of the original Bio Hazard (Bundle). The Toxic Guns were introduced in the Monster Mash Update.
- The Toxic Guns included have a similar appearance to the Flare Gun, though functionally they are completely different weapons.
- A skull on a triangle appears on both the Monster Vest and Spec Ops Vest, suggesting this monster is a zombified version of the Spec Ops Pack.
