The MIB Noisy Cricket or less formerly, the Noisy Cricket, is a weapon introduced in the Movie Content Update within the M.I.B. Pack. While it lost all grace after its eventual nerf, it would become the stuff of legend after the Easter Update of 2021.
Strategy[]
Created by an unknown race, this small compact hybrid alien weapon has some quirks about it that only few happens share with it. For starters, its single bullet is not animated in-game, but does generate a volley of "rings" behind it; clearly indicating the projectiles sheer size, which allows its holder to blast at enemies peeking behind corners; and if they happen to be right behind a thin obstacle (i.e. fences) then they will feel its full effect. Additionally, there is massive knockback whenever its fired, allowing the user to evade incoming attacks. Time has sadly passed on this alien artifact; as it is unable to deliver the second and lethal blow to moderately built opponents.
One thing that is evident in the debuffed version of this gun is the knockback is a major detriment for newer, unaware users, enabling competitive foes to return the favor in quick succession. Handle this Launcher with care in Run And Gun as its low range and two-shot requirement force players to strictly Ambush others. In the process of recovery this insect is squashed by Shotguns, Water Weapons, and Heavy Weapons.
Carried over from the movie version, this Golden Age weapon was once the only true threat to payless players, enabling its user to completely pummel opponents from mid-range; ignoring the need of Gadgets, builds, and even auto-aim thanks to its huge projectile. However it holds back as well, forcing its user to be thrown back, and brought back up to reload, completely atomizing any chances of increasing its reload speed; that being said, the effect this also carries, is the ability to evade close range fighters, and downing them in the process while others try to catch up.
Another negative that it carries with pride, is its range, being more or less ignored as wielders can Run And Gun quite easily, and even has the upper hand against campers, as if unwarranted, can be used to clear out small areas of several opponents thanks to its incredible piercing effect. Unfortunately, since its reign has been long passed, the question many players are left wondering, is if it could take out maxed Anti Equipment in a single shot, and better yet, handle the heat of Runic Cannon, Divine Sword, and Assault Rifle DU MK 2.

Trivia[]
A Prop of this weapon.
A test photo of the gun, strangely it has two bullets.

It appears to be lessened in firepower compared to the official MIB equivalent.
The one used in the movie can be seen obliterating a huge truck, while the Respawnables version of the weapon cannot kill a player with ++ Health.
The weapons harsh recoil sends the protagonist Agent J flying over a tremendous distance. However the Respawnables version only throws them back roughly 1.8 meters while the player's character uses their legs to recover from the recoil.
