The Little Italy is the fifth weapon available in the Shop and is an SMG, it is only obtainable by reaching level 6.

Strategy[]

Staying true to its inspiration, this little brother is pushed at the second cheapest price for a GoldIcon weapon, which gives it a better edge on the battlefield than some cash weapons, however like them, it does persist with relatively OK damage, range, and agility, as well as good accuracy, a decently sized drum, and a good rate of fire; while it has no major drawbacks it will still face serious trouble in Multiplayer against more well equipped enemies that can absorb its mags.

As its card states, this guns reach is very limited, and going slightly beyond mid-range can cause severe damage falloff, a Run And Gun tactic is needed to resolve this issue. Ganged up against Shotguns, Water Weapons, and Heavy Weapons, and its cost effectiveness begins to prove its cheap reliability.

Trivia[]

  • Nineteen other weapons value accuracy at the same regard as this drum gun.
  • As with most submachines, this one carries quite well on the battlefield, along with 116 other primaries.
  • Unlike them however, the Italy boasts above-par range with fifteen other rifle-dominated compatriots.
  • At an identical count as well, 19 varied classes share in a mediocre reload speed.
  • With relation to its Rate of Fire, fourteen other firearms dispense at such speeds.
  • Worthy of note, the Little Italy is one of few guns prior to the G.B. 30th Ann. Update that kept its original photo model intact.
  • Similar to some Golden Age attire & weaponry, this model has a golden outlining.
  • Its name derives from the fact that the real life weapon, the Thompson SMG, was often used by Mafias based in the U.S. & Italy.
    • It could also be hinting at a quote from the movie 'Scarface' in which the main character, Tony Montana, states to his enemies, "say hello to my little friend". Albeit, the weapon carried in this scene is in fact not a Thompson.
  • Another game named Blitz Brigade has a weapon with a very similar model of the Italy named the 'Madford SMG'. Both are based off the Tommy Gun, but the Respawnables iteration has a bandage.
  • It has a vague appearance to the World War II SMG called the Pistolet Pulemet Shpagina (PPSh).
  • While firing, it recycles the SFX of the Rookie Machine Gun.
  • It is the first gun in the game that has a drum magazine.
  • When in its reload sequence, the player may view its magazine which appears to carry shotgun shells.
    • Additionally, even if depleted this component still appears in the mag.
  • After the Battle of Elements Update this gun received a 50% price reduction, its former cost was 40 GoldIcon.
  • The custom skin recognizing a player known as 'Sebas4k' remains unknown at the moment to who exactly he/she was to the respawnables community.
