The Hunter Shotgun is a weapon first introduced in the Easter Update of 2015 as the final prize for its Event.
Strategy[]
Intended for greater distances than others, this Shotgun is unique, consisting of a lever-action, allowing it to blast rounds much faster than a pump, which is where its damage is slightly altered, making it more on par with a Six-Shooter. However to avoid any interference with this tweaked damage output, the accuracy, agility, reload speed, and feed are all decent. Even in close proximity, this gun can only ward off a single moderate build, and will be overturned by maxed builds.
With the added range it has, users can take their time on the battlefield, as though it has a decent supply, its damage drop-off does come into effect if just beyond midrange; making it attuned to Run And Gun, where players can use a variety of tactics[1][2] to keep enemies at bay, and reloading after every kill. This weapon is preyed upon by Water Weapons, Launchers, and Heavy Weapons from great distances.

Trivia[]
- This weapon is possibly a hybrid of a Winchester M1887 & SPAS-12, with slight modifications, such as the ability to fire semi-automatic.
- Surprisingly, this is the first and last Lever-Action weapon in the game!
- Formerly this used to be the only long-ranged shotgun, but it has now been uncrowned by the Shelantis, Aristocrat's Shotgun, & Neo-Doom Shotgun - in that order.
- Defeating Bunny & Warrior enemies will grant during the Easter Egg Hunt 2; a mechanic that was brought back from the previous.
- It has the initial reload animation of the Thumper, however, once one "shell" is placed into the feed, every other round loaded within that frame is cut to the character taking the same shell and putting it in again and again, until filled.
- So in other words, the "back pocket" reload maneuver is the sequence piece that's removed.
- Oddly when each round has entered the chamber, a pump-action is used, however making no noise.
- During and contained in the 3.0.0 Update, its pump was displaced to the front of the slider in-game as the resting area.
