The Dual Blunderbuss is a Dual Sawed-Off Shotgun that was released in The Big Map Quest Update. It can only be obtained by purchasing the 'Manmax' Set with real-life currency.

Strategy[]

Similar to its counterparts, these dual Shotguns deal massive damage at close range, but only at close range, because of this the user must rely on their agility to close that gap between them and their opponent. With that said though these weapons not only excel in agility, but they can make light work of anti-equipment and tank mains if they get to close, because of that these weapons are an excellent choice for rookies in combat as though they can be nerfed they usually ignore such debuffs because their close range damage is wildly different from other weapons and shotguns. Keep a close eye on distanced much ups however, as this weapon only has 4 shots and its reload makes it sluggish; it's accuracy too, while very large, can actually be very useful in Hordes and against clustered enemies.

Like those before it, these Dual Shotguns play an incredibly offensive game, making the most of the Run And Gun strategy in almost every way as players should always be on the move and activating this weapons special skill, which when triggered can depend on who wins the matchup! Thankfully though where this weapon goes above and beyond its classic counterpart, is its ability to be played universally, it can be played with a tank build or an agility build, because of that it rivals many other Shotguns, not relying on increased damage or speed to make up certain losses, of which this weapons only loss is range. Note that it can be subdued by these weapons: Water Weapons, Heavy Weapons, and Assault Weapons.

Trivia[]

  • Its firing sound is a combination of Blunderbuss' firing sound and Dual Pistols' firing sound.
  • It is the second dual shotgun in the game, the first one being the Burial Shotguns.
  • When you use the Voodoo Doll spell, you will hear a sound that resembles the firing sound of the Blunderbuss.
    • Upon activation there is a mostly random chance of gaining one of its effects in its pool, the most common being a speed boost & defense being its lowest; all of these effects have an identity of their own that better defines their attribute before the player runs in for a kill.
    • Each skill lasts 3s and grants a 50% net increase in that attribute, the only one not doing so is the rate of fire buff, which grants 25% in total.
  • With at least the Zombie Bull mastery equipped & + Health, a player will survive even when the voodoo doll skill fails.
    • Voodoos curse occurs roughly in 1-10 activations, and deals 200% damage to the player and enemies that may have entered its core vicinity.
  • Despite being a variant of the Blunderbuss, it is not nullified by Celestial Head + Medic Jacket + Close Quarters Pants!
  • It deals 375% damage per shot; or less then a quarter of the damage of a fully charged Big Kaboom in close proximity, but consists of an even better rate of fire & reload speed.
    • This means it can wipeout Whiplash in just a single clip, so long as the holder is firing pointblank.
